Welcome to the Seoul Sports Council website. Since its establishment in 1953, the Seoul Sports Council has been dedicated to improving the health, physical fitness, leisure activities, and welfare of Seoul's citizens. We have also worked to protect the rights and interests of athletes, nurturing outstanding competitors to represent both Seoul and South Korea for over 70 years. The Seoul Sports Council is pursuing various initiatives to unite the city through sports. Our goals include securing stable finances through sports management, supporting individual sports associations to elevate the status of Seoul's athletics, revitalizing local sports councils to strengthen grassroots sports, normalizing school sports to foster young talent, and developing a sports infrastructure platform for the city. The Seoul Sports Council is committed to creating a true unity among recreational sports, professional sports, and school sports, leading the way in establishing Seoul as one of the world's top five economic and sports metropolises through effective sports management.
