Introduction of Team Seoul
The Seoul City Hall Sports Team (Seoul’s Workplace Sports Teams) operates as a professional team under the
"National Sports Promotion Act" Article 10 and the "Ordinance on the Establishment and Operation of Workplace
Sports Teams in Seoul." The team is managed by the City of Seoul to support underrepresented and less popular
sports, as well as disciplines often avoided by private companies, with the goal of promoting balanced development
among sports and enhancing professional athletics. Team Seoul consists of 25 disciplines, 25 teams, and 186
members and is managed by the Seoul Sports Council, a specialized organization in the field of sports.
